[Publication] The business case of FryskLab, Europe’s first mobile library FabLab

At Internet Librarian International 2014 I hosted a shared session about library makerspaces with Heather Moorefield-Lang, Assistant Professor for The School of Library and Information Science at The University of South Carolina.

We stayed in touch after the conference and in April 2015 she asked me to write an article about the FryskLab project. She did this because she was asked to guest edit a themed issue on Mobile Makerspaces in Library Hi Tech. Of course I accepted her request and the journal was published later that year. 

Since I received several requests to make the article available as open access I asked the publisher for permission. I’m happy to say they allowed me to make the pre-print version of the article available at my own website (Green Open Access):
