Gisteren las ik een erg aardig artikel, Interview, Workspace Tour: Alessandro Cortini’s SONOIO Album and Synth over een bijzondere release van electronicamusicus Alessandro Cortini. Hij bracht zijn album Sonoio uit in een veelvoud van varianten, met als gemeenschappelijke deler een gratis digitaal exemplaar. Nu is dat op zich nog niet zo heel bijzonder. Het feit dat de aanschaf van de ultieme versie echter een unieke synthesizer, het SuONOIO sound device, op de deurmat laat ploffen is wel opmerkelijk. In het interview gaat Cortini uitvoerig in op de totstandkoming van het album en de uitwerking van het idee een synth mee te leveren.
