Data Detox Kit at Generation Code 2018

 

Talking about the Data Detox Kit, a new project of Bibliotheekservice Fryslân and the Frisian Library Network, at Generation Code, Brussels, on October 9. How can people get a grip on their digital personalities again? In an eight-day program participants handle a number of important elements of their digital lives (smartphone, web browser, social networks etc.).

Our project is an adapation of the Data Detox-project of Tactical Technology. We translated their toolkit, as well as the corresponding exhibit The Glass Room Experience, to Dutch. In November we will also launch a Dutch online version of the program. After that we will work on versions for different target groups.
