Recycle muziekcollectie naar een lamp

Stuur 160 gebruikte muziektapes naar Spanje en krijg een daarvan vervaardigde lamp retour. Wat een prachtig concept van Cassette’s Not Dead, wier credo luidt:

Tribute to cassette tape, which kept us company all trough the 80ies and became a symbol of a generation. Taking advantage of
its structural properties, a lamp/box has been created only by means of tying the tapes firmly together. The lamp dims the light in a soft delicate way and you can play with it changing the tapes even with yours and listening all of them too!!

Each piece is unique, exclusive and hand made.

Ik kan maar moeilijk afstand doen van mijn cassettebandjescollectie (enkele honderden), ondanks het besef dat ik ze nooit meer zal afspelen. Dan vind ik dit toch wel een heel erg leuke bestemming voor iets waarin ik destijds veel tijd en geld stak. Ik ga er serieus over nadenken maar eens een lading op te sturen.
