Musica da Camera: muizen maken muziek

Waarom een speeldoos niet laten bedienen door een muis? Het Italiaanse Quiet Ensemble pakte de handschoen op en creëerde de installatie Musica da Camera,

a music installation where the 40 members of the orchestra are mice running on their own wheels. Each wheel is connected to a music box that when it turns, starts to play his musical notes. The large number of chimes and random acts of living beings makes it unrecognizable melodies (lullabies by Brahms, Schubert and Mozart) that create a musical tapestry unexpected determined solely by the mice.
